| Comment: I've been happily married to Tim for 27 years. We met at SDSU. We've lived in North & South Dakota and Nebraska. We moved to Rapid 13 years ago, thinking the home that we bought would be temporary. After remodeling and decorating every square inch of our home we have concluded that this is probably where we'll be forever, weather and health permitting. I love my job selling and decorating homes & commercial properties. No two days are the same. My kids are all in Rapid and my grandchildren live 3 blocks away. So now we're building a 2 story treehouse with a tube slide from the top in the front yard. Life is good. | |

| Comment: After graduation I attended SDSU for two years then transferred to ASU. Graduated and moved to San Diego where I have lived ever since. I've only been back to Pierre a few times over the past 30 years. I've been married for 13 years. My husband Erik is from Sweden and he moved here when he was a senior in high school. He is a UCSB graduate, and is an engineer/physicist. We have two wonderful girls, Annika 11 yo and Hannah 8 yo. They are busy with school, sports and horses. The kids want to live where it snows. They need to spend a winter in SD, then they will appreciate SoCal.. I just celebrated my 20 year work anniversary, I work for Science Applications International Corp. in the corporate network group. Hope to retire soon, but I need a new tractor! | |

Comment:
A lot of stuff has happened in thirty years. Presented for your reading enjoyment, is a summary of the "stuff" I've been doing. 2 years at Mitchell Vo-tech, back to Pierre worked for Kellar and Ferding Electric until 86 then to Huron, SD where we currently reside. Married in 82, twin daughters in 85, one more daughter in 90. I am presently working for Western Area Power Admin. as crew Foreman, I have 6 guys on my crew and we cover the area from Pierre to Sioux Falls and down to Winner. My wife of 25 years, Julie, works for Northwestern Energy as a Programer/Analyst in the I T dept.
The twins, Cammy will graduate from NDSU this spring. Chelsey graduated from NDSU in December and Jenna will graduate from Huron High School this spring also. We are soon to be empty nesters. In our free time we really enjoy camping and spending time near a beach. We are also involved at our church and with the local Elks Lodge. I still enjoy hunting whenever I can, and fishing when it's hot enough to require cold beers to be consumed. I enjoy gun and old ammo collecting and working in my woodshop. We live close to the fair grounds in Huron and if you are in town for the fair or any other reason, just call and we'll have cold beer! |

'08 has been a big year - college and high school graduations. A near empty nest and school district job cuts next year have us exploring our options. In the meantime we treasure time with family and friends..........and Minnesota Gopher hockey. | |

Son Zane (18) just graduated from high school and will attend Lake Area Vocational Institute for Ag Business. | |

After graduation I did 3 years in the Army as a Helicopter mechanic. I moved back to Pierre permanently in 1984. I found that there weren't many jobs for a helicopter mechanic so went to work on irrigation pivots for a few years with Sully Buttes Irrigation and Morris. In 1987 I got a job as an appliance repairman at R&M Appliance. Go Maytag!! I'm now a technology engineer for the State of South Dakota. I help manage the statewide video network for government and education. |

| Comment: Has it really been 10 years since the last 'blow-out'? Time flies when you're getting old - as we should all know:-) Mike and I are still in Pierre, enjoying the kicked back atmosphere that is only South Dakota. Have done a lot of traveling, including a brief little stint in the sand-box - I'm really getting too old for that! Other than that, busy with work, bowling, pool, riding and hanging out with the gang. There are so many of us '78'rs still in town, that it seems like a mini-reunion most of the time. It will be awesome seeing all of you who don't make it back here more than once every 10 years! As I can see from all of the postings that have been done, some things never change - looks like we're still the Party Animals of Riggs High!! | |

| Comment: After high school I married Ray O"Day (we made it 20 yrs!!) and had 2 children, Meghann 29 and Devin 24. Meghann is married with 2 children and also lives in AZ so we see them often. Devin lives in SD and will be visiting us next month. I graduated from USD in my 30's while working full-time for all but 1 semester!! I married Dave in 2001. He is a Lead Specialist for Lockheed Martin. I've been working for Wells Fargo for the past 17 yrs with 8 yrs to go! We're enjoying Arizona but miss everyone in SD. | |
