Great to see all the classmates who have submitted information on here! Hats off to Trace Beck for being the first brave soul to submit a profile on here. I returned to Pierre in 1996 after calling several towns in South Dakota home during the 1980's and 90's. During the time since my college days ( Go YellowJackets!) I have traveled accross the country quite a bit for work. But there is no place like home. In 2002 I decided to dabble into politics some. Guess hearing that would shock some of you. I am now completing my sixth year as a Representative in the SD Legislature. It is something I wish everyone could experience. Keep in mind, if I can do it, so can you. Life is good in Pierre. For those of you living out of state, take some time to get re acquinted with Pierre, you might like what you see. See you all in July. |

| What have you been doing for the last 10 years?: | work - travel - family - work - travel - family! I've lived and worked elsewhere but like many of the Class of 1978, I returned back to Pierre for work and love it. |

My son, Eric, graduated from high school last month and plans to attend USD in the fall. Pierre is still "home" and I hope I can attend at least part of the reunion! | |

Since the 20th reunion, Anne (Garry) and I have moved from Denver to St. Louis, to Natchitoches Louisiana, to Indianapolis, to the burbs of Atlanta Georgia. We have moved so much, it feels like we are in the Federal Witness Protection Program. We have two great kids, Michelle 15 and Brian 13 and a mutt for a dog. I am presently in outside sales, after a stint of self employment in the landscape industry. We "enjoy" spending our free time hauling our kids from one sporting event to another as unpaid taxi drivers. We also enjoy travel, camping, a good bottle of wine, stupid dog tricks, and old friends. We still manage to get back to Pierre about once a year. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again. |

Greg and I moved to Omaha from Redfield 23 years ago, always missing the hidden treasure that is Pierre. I am a self-employed legal proofreader and transcriptionist, Greg is going into his 23rd year as a commodities broker for the same firm - we both hate working and if our kids would ALL get out, we could consider retiring. Our daughter-in-law is expecting our first grandchild in September, so we're very excited about that. We have four children, Jesse 27, Jason 23, Aaron 19, and Anna 15. I'll look for pictures asap - it'll be hard to find a "then" one without a Miller High Life in it, though......for that matter, it might be hard to find a "now" one without one in it also! |

My one claim to fame is my inventions. At Dow Corning, I was an inventor on 29 patents that were filed.13 of these patents were issued. One ingredient that I invented is in Maybelline 24 hour Make-up and 24-hr Super-Stay Lipstick. My husband has been a Masonry Estimator for 27 years and is one of the best in Michigan. My son is a soccer player. He can player all day if you let him.

| Comment: Mark & I moved to Brookings in September of 2007. Mark works at Harms Oil Company based out of Brookings. After selling our convenience stores in Pierre & still not knowing what I wanted to be when I grew up, I decided to pursue the Medical Coding career. I've been a Medical Coder working out of our home for 3 years. I love working in my jammies!! Our son, Drew, is a financial planner for Thrivent & lives in Minneapolis.
